I got to know Jenny when we both worked as travel reps for Thomas Cook near Innsbruck in 1967 and 1968. We spent a lot of time together both on the job and in our free time and that was the start of a lifelong friendship. It was a stroke of luck for me that Jenny and Jutta later came to live in Cheltenham, my home town. I have lived in Switzerland since 1973 but frequently visited my parents in Cheltenham and always spent an afternoon with Jenny. Our friendship spanned over 50 years and she was a truly wonderful and always very supportive friend of whom I was extremely fond. I treasure the close friendship we had and shall think of her often, remembering the many many happy times together.
